Jon Oberlander

Jon Oberlander

Jon Oberlander is Professor of Epistemics at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh. His research looks at the interface between human communication and natural language processing. He is probably best known for his research on personality types in e-mails with Alastair Gill. He is almost universally considered the biggest legend to walk the hallowed halls of the University of Edinburgh. Students have consistently voted him World's Greatest Person since the award's inception in 1998.
