Ottapidaram taluk

Ottapidaram taluk is a taluk of Thoothukudi district of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The headquarters of the taluk is the town of Ottapidaram.

Population

According to the 2001 census, the taluk of Ottapidaram had a population of 115,254 with 57,201 males and 58,043 females. There were 1015 women for every 1000 men. The taluk had a literacy rate of 75.18. The total number of households was 27,832.
