Usama Al Kini (d. January 1, 2009(2009-01-01)) — or Osama al-Kini — was a citizen of Kenya believed to have held a senior leadership role in Al Qaeda.[1][2] According to a United States military spokesmen, Al-Kini was the head of Al Qaeda's operations in Pakistan. Al-Kini was on the FBI's most wanted list. He was believed to have planned the bombing of the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad that left 55 dead.

A Hellfire missile fired from a CIA operated Predator UAV killed Al-Kini and his deputy, Sheikh Ahmed Salim Swedan, in Pakistan's Federally Administered Tribal Areas on January 1, 2009.[1]
