ONE Automation

ONE Automation

ONE Automation refers to the unification of the silos of automation[clarification needed] that exist in enterprise today including run book, application process automation, job scheduling / workload automation, Managed File Transfer (MFT), application release, and virtualization management.[1][2] The concept was introduced by UC4. ONE Automation is revolutionary because it allows IT organizations to move beyond automating basic tasks by automating all the decision-making processes within the IT department.[3] At the heart of ONE Automation is the complex event processing (CEP) technology. CEP allows IT departments to apply a set of policies to captured information, thereby automating those types of decisions.[4]
