North Carolina Council of State elections, 2012

The North Carolina Council of State elections, 2012 will be held November 6, 2012 to select the nine officers of the North Carolina Council of State. This will coincide with the U.S. presidential election, U.S. House elections, N.C. gubernatorial elections, and the statewide judicial elections. Primary elections will be held on May 8, 2012; if necessary, runoff elections will be held on June 26.[1]

Council of state

The nine members of the North Carolina Council of State are statewide-elected officers serving four-year terms.[2] Official filing to run for the offices listed will be February 13-29, 2012.[1]
