History

The band grew out of the Inflatable Haggis Band around 2007 and has been constantly touring and refining its sound since.[1] The band's name comes from a sample of an old Gaelic speaker referring to "Obair Oidhche" or Night Work.[2]

In 2009 the band won the Rapal song contest for new Gaelic song with "Nam Aonar san Fonn". They have also covered Runrig's "Chi mi 'n Geamhradh" as well as writing several other songs.

The band played the Hebridean Celtic Festival in 2011 and were described as the "band of the night".[3] They have also played the Tartan Heart Festival and also put on DJ sets independently of the main act.

They will release their debut EP in the autumn of 2011.
