Nishu Nursery and Kothari Convent

Nishu Nursery and Kothari Convent is one of the very renowned schools of Akola city. It comes under the Amravati University. It is located in very calm area of Laxmi Nagar , near the Goraksahan Road. This school is run by a group of trustees which manage complete management of the school. The current staff of the school is very good, ably headed by Mrs Sunanda Thute.

History

This school was started way back in 1984-85. Since then it had evolved drastically. In the beginning period of the school, it used to take its classes behind the Jamanlal Goenka Dental College. Then as the school made progress, slowly it gained fame, and now it stands among the top school institutions of the city.

Achievements

From substantial time , the school has maintained the record of producing 100 % result in the board examination . This school has produced many meritorious students who are still shining in the outside world. Not only it is ahead in academics, but also in other activities such as sports, Yoga, other non academical competitions For the last 5 years , the school cricket team has been representing Akola in the inter-divisional matches .
