Nicolas Reyes

Nicolas Reyes (born November 22, 1958)[1] is the lead singer of the musical group the Gipsy Kings. He sings in various styles which mainly include traditional and popular versions of flamenco and Latino-American dance music rumba. With his hoarse and passionate voice he is one of most prominent flamenco singers. With the Gipsy Kings, Reyes sang songs such as Bamboleo, Volare, Hotel California and many other chart toppers. Additionally he plays (rhythm) guitar and palmas (hand-clapping). He is left-handed.

Nicolas Reyes is the third and the middle son of the singer José Reyes; his elder brothers are Pablo and Canut and younger - Patchai and Andre [2] (all of whom are active members of the group). Nicolas continues singing for the group, although Canut and Patchai also appear as lead vocals. Nicolas' son Georges (born 1975)[3] also tours with the group. Nicolas Reyes speaks Spanish and French and sings in Spanish. He resides in South France with the other members of the Gipsy Kings and their relatives.
