West Midlands bus route 451 is a major bus route linking Sutton Coldfield with Kingstanding, Scott Arms and West Bromwich. It is operated by National Express West Midlands in the West Midlands, England.

History

Previously the route has been operated on by Diamond Bus and Midland Rider. At one stage, NX used single deck vehicles on the route.

Present

In 2007 the West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive and Centro, with partners National Express West Midlands, signed a voluntary partnership to improve six services, the 451 being one of those along with routes 1, 377 (now 77), 934, 993 (now 935) and 997. The route now has new bus stops and a fleet of refurbished Plaxton President double deck buses on a high frequency.
