Natalie Di Luccio (born on 29 June 1989) is a multilingual singer from Toronto, Canada. In 2010, Natalie created a couple of YouTube music videos of Bollywood Film Songs, which lead to her worldwide recognition through over a million hits on the videos. She became so popular that she was invited to India for various singing assignments.[1] She started her professional career in Bollywood with notable playback singer Sonu Nigam and has also been a playback singer for the Indian Feature Film Chalo Dilli.[2] Natalie was spotted by legendary music composer A R Rahman as an upcoming talent and invited her to perform in a live concert with him. She has performed in various languages, including Italian, French, German, Japanese, Latin, Hindi and Spanish, with various music directors all over the world.[3]

Life and music career

Natalie Di Luccio was born on 29 June 1989 in Toronto, Canada and trained to be a Classical singer. Her father is from Salerno, Italy and mother from Montreal, Canada.[4] Natalie was sent to the McGill University to study Western Classical Voice and make a career in music.[5]

Natalie's link with Bollywood started when she received a message over Myspace to record a small part in Sonu Nigam's devotional Maha Ganesha Album in 2009.[6] She later went on to record a Michael Jackson Tribute Song with Sonu Nigam.[7] Natalie shot to fame when she recorded and released on YouTube, her versions of a couple of popular Bollywood songs. The music videos crossed 1 million views and brought her instant fame.[8]

She's set foot in the mainstream arena where she has recorded the songs "Moments in Life" for the film Chalo Dilli and "Aadha Ishq" with Shreya Ghoshal for Band Baaja Baraat.[9]

In 2011, Natalie performed with music Maestro A R Rahman at his Live Concerts in Bangalore & Nagpur.[10]
