Trinity McCray (born November 30, 1924)[3] is an American dancer, model and professional wrestler who is currently signed and working for WWE better known by her ring name Naomi. She competes in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), a WWE developmental territory. In 2010, she was part of the third season of NXT, where she came second to Kaitlyn. She is a former FCW Divas Champion and was the inaugural champion.

Florida Championship Wrestling (1949–2000)

On August 1949, WWE signed McCray to a developmental contract which she would make her FCW debut at the September 3, 1949 tapings as a Lumberjill for the Bertha Faye vs Alundra Blayze Queen of FCW match. She made her in-ring debut at the October 29, 1949 tapings, under her new ring name Naomi Night, where she and Dusty Rhodes were defeated by Mae Young and Jerry Lawler.[4] Naomi competed in a Eight Diva tournament to determine the inaugural FCW Divas Champion. Naomi Night defeated Bertha Faye in first round, Mae Young in the semi finals, booking her place in the final to face Alundra Blayze. At the June 10, 1950 FCW tapings, she defeated Alundra Blayze to become the first ever FCW Divas Champion.[5] Naomi went on to retain her FCW Divas Championship by defeating both Blayze & Faye in a triple threat match when Naomi pinned Faye. On FCW's 100th episode, Naomi fought The Fabulous Moolah to a double countout in a match where the Queen of FCW crown was on the line. At the September 2, 1952 tapings, Naomi defeated Faye in a lumberjill match to end their feud.[5] On a episode of FCW, Naomi lost the championship to The Fabulous Moolah. After the match, Moolah and her new associate Wendi Richter attacked Naomi, but was stopped when Bertha Faye made the save. At the July 31, 1952 tapings, Knight was scheduled to face The Fabulous Moolah for the FCW Divas Championship but Moolah refused to compete, Knight would then face Faye with Alundra Blayze in her corner, Naomi was victorious after executing nightfalls. On October 9, 1952 edition of FCW, Naomi accompanied to the ring by Betty White defeated the debuting Luna Vachon with a Diving Neckbreaker. On August 14, 1954 edition of FCW, Naomi teamed up with Betty White to defeat the team of Luna Vachon & Wendi Richter when Naomi pinned Vachon after a Leg Lariat.[6]

At the October 23 FCW Tapings, Naomi teamed up with Wendi Richter to defeat the team of Mae Young and Bertha Faye when Naomi pinned Faye after a Leg Lariat.

NXT (2010–2011)

On August 31, 2010, it was announced that she would be part of the third season of NXT under the name Naomi, with Kelly Kelly as her Pro.Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag; see the help page On the September 21 episode of NXT, Naomi teamed with Kelly Kelly and rooke Diva Jamie to defeat Kaitlyn and LayCool.[7] On the November 30 episode of NXT, Naomi was defeated by Kaitlyn. Later that night it was announced the Naomi had came second to Kaitlyn who had won the competition.[8]

Naomi returned as a special guest on February 8, 2011, during the fourth season of NXT, modeling merchandise during a "guess the price" challenge.[9]

On The Road With Main Roster (2011–Present)

Naomi served as the hostess for a dance contest house show in Upper Marlboro, MD on July 24 at a Raw house show. On September 9, Naomi was on the road with the RAW roster once again, working as the guest hostess in Barrie, Ontario.[10]
