NIP Group Inc. is a business insurance and risk management intermediary. Headquartered in Woodbridge, New Jersey, United States, it has 100+ employees and provides insurance services across the United States. The Group provides a wide range of brokerage, underwriting and risk managemnent services to numerous industries.

The Group provides a wide range of insurance coverages for businesses and professionals, including general liability, property, medical liability, business auto, crime, workers' compensation and umbrella.[1]

Each year NIP Group, publishes the Transportation Insurance Pricing Survey (TIPS™) which is used by transportation insurance personnel, wholesalers and underwriters to benchmark changes in the availability and rates in transportation insurance.[2]

NIP Programs develops and manages business insurance programs underwritten by major insurers for industries with specialized insurance and risk management needs. All their insurance programs are underwritten by carriers rated A- (Excellent) or better by AM Best. Programs include:

SitePro® - insurance for Excavation, Site Prep and Paving Contractors.

MedEdge™ - Professional Liability insurance for Physician Assistants and Optometrists.

PetPro™ - insurance for Pet Care Professionals.

GlassPro® – insurance for Glass Dealers and Installers.

SignagePro® – insurance for Sign, Display and Awning Companies.

MaintenancePro® – insurance for Cleaning and Maintenance Services.

FuneralPro™ - insurance for Funeral Directors.

PlumbingPro™ - insurance for Commercial Plumbing Contractors.

HVACPro® - insurance for AC, Refrigeration, Heating or HVAC Contractors.

PowerPro® – insurance for Electrical Contractors

NIP Specialty Brokerage

NIP Specialty Brokerage is a wholesale brokerage operation, started in 2004, that targets non-standard commercial risks underwritten by admitted and non-admitted specialty carriers. In 2011, it launched a new practice in cyber liability coverage.

NIP Group Captive Management

NIP Group Captive Management division enables business professionals in a common industry or entities with homogeneous risk characteristics, who are experiencing severe difficulty securing affordable and/or comprehensive insurance coverage, to form an association in order to share risk as an alternative cost-efficient manner to purchase commercial insurance. NIP Group Captive Management develops and manages these alternative insurance programs and provides the essential operational expertise.

The risk sharing groups developed and managed by NIP Group are: Conventus Inter-Insurance Exchange, a physician owned and governed medical professional liability insurance reciprocal exclusive to New Jersey physicians and surgeons and the Garden State Municipal Joint Insurance Fund (GSMJIF), a property and casualty fund serving New Jersey municipalities.
