History & Products

The company was originally created in 1997 as a private, online document filing service. On November 21, 2005 Intuit Inc. (Nasdaq:INTU) announced it had acquired MyCorporation Business Services, Inc.^[1][3] Intuit began to sell its own products along with the service, bundling its accounting software with MyCorporation filing offers. In October 2009, Intuit divested itself of the company and sold it to an employee, Deborah Sweeney.^[4]

MyCorporation.com continues to work closely with Intuit, offering Intuit products along with its document preparation services.^[5][6] Intuit also continues to recommend MyCorporation as an affiliate for document filing. ^[7]
