Music Binds All

Music Binds all is a short movie (2min 55s) developed by Mlab, a consortium of digital media professionals with an expertise in 2D and 3D animation. It’s a brainchild of the chairperson of Seshkumar, who is the chairperson of eMantras - a global digital learning solutions company. Mlab is a digital media division formed to effectively combine creativity and technology for the benefit of all. It now has competencies in stopmotion, user design and gaming.

'Music binds all' is a one of its kind animation film which fuses two popular Indian folk art forms. The concept depicts how Humans and Nature are bound together inherently and intricately. The story begins showing two pages of a book, each page has a painting, the paintings are from different art styles.

This was a brainchild of Seshkumar and was put to practice by the eclectic team at Mlab, led by Vinay Pahlajani.

Has garnered rave reviews and widespread appreciation at places screened. Won silver in TASK09 Kolkota. Was one of the select and elite few to be screened in Annecy, France 09, and IIF-LA (USA)-09.

Buoyed by the success of the movie, mlab founded a community called Vibrantribes- which is devoted to promote Indian folk & tribal art with its innate richness to a wider diaspora. It has managed to create quite a fan following in the online social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
