agricultural programme, Scone High School has been rewarded with success at theRoyal Easter Show atSydney for many years. It is also famous for getting two students in "Picture" magazine in 1999.Scone High has also been successful in sports competitions, mainly
rugby league . Former Newcastle, St. Helens and Sharks wingerDarren Albert and former Newcastle, Parramatta and current Wests-Tigers player John Morris, as well as currentCanberra Raiders forwardDane Tilse have attended the school.The school is also well regarded for its
agriculture , equestrian,drama ,music ,sports andtechnology programmes.The school has come under heavy criticism from former students over it's failure to address rampant bulling and violence
