Muktha (Kannada: ಮುಕ್ತ) was a serial telecast in Kannada language on ETV Kannada. It was directed by T.N. Seetharam, who has enacted in the serial. The serial aimed to bring civic awareness with stories to fight for justice against all bureaucratic and political odds. Muktha, a word with roots in Sanskrit, means "freedom". The program ended on September 15, 2006. The main theme of this serial was to increase awareness of the laws of the land among the people. In this serial Sudha Narayana Murthy also acted as Judge.

In the new serial Muktha Muktha, TNS explore the issues of naxal, farmers, medical system etc., the uniqueness of the serial is the way it can be modified to the current situations.
