Mount Hirman

Mount Hirman (75°28′S 72°46′W / 75.467°S 72.767°W / -75.467; -72.767) is a prominent mountain marking the south end of the Behrendt Mountains, in Ellsworth Land. Mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1961-67. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Joseph W. Hirman, scientific leader at Eights Station in 1965.
