Mottram St Andrew is a village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. According to the 2001 census, the village has a population of 629 people.[1] It is an affluent village set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. It is located within the Golden Triangle of Alderley Edge, Prestbury and Wilmslow, being just a few miles from each and 15 miles from Manchester.

The parish contains Mottram Hall, nowadays a hotel and golfing centre.

In recent years, the village and its environs have proved to be popular with high profile sportsmen residents including footballers Wayne Rooney, Owen Hargreaves, Mark Hughes, Carlos Tevez and Mario Balotelli[2], and cricketer Andrew Flintoff.
