Mosby Peak

Mosby Peak (54°26′S 3°21′E / 54.433°S 3.35°E / -54.433; 3.35) is a snow-covered peak (670 m) which rises above the west part of Bouvetøya, 0.7 nautical miles (1.3 km) northeast of Norvegia Point. Charted by the Norwegian expedition in the Norvegia, 1927-28, under Captain Harald Horntvedt. Named by the expedition for Hakon Mosby, oceanographer and meteorologist, who was one of two scientists on the expedition.
