Revesby is a village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It lies 7 miles (11.3 km) south-east from Horncastle, 8 miles (12.9 km) east from Woodhall Spa and 14 miles (22.5 km) north from Boston, on the A155. The parish in includes the hamlet of Moorhouses 3 miles (4.8 km) to the south of Revesby village.

Revesby Grade II listed Anglican church is dedicated to St Lawrence.[1] The present church was built in Decorated style in 1891 on the site of a previous church built in 1733 by Revesby Abbey estate owner Joseph Banks, the great-grandfather of naturalist Sir Joseph Banks. The 1733 church was built on the site of an even earlier church.[2]

The parish includes the site of the Cistercian abbey of St Mary and St Lawrence, founded in 1142 and colonised by monks from Rievaulx Abbey. The abbey was suppressed through the 1538 Dissolution of the Lesser Monasteries Act.[2] In 1660 A Revesby Hall was built close to the site of the abbey; this hall was rebuilt in 1849 as Revesby Abbey in Elizabethan style with 330 acres of deer park.[3] Revesby Abbey with its stable yard, both in a state of delapidation, is Grade I listed.[4] The deer park today holds an annual Revesby Country Fair".[5]
