Molly Smitten-Downes (born 2 April 1987 Leicestershire) is a British musician.

Life

She is the daughter of David Downes and Janice Smitten. She studied at Leicester College Access to Music,[1] HND level and also Guildfords Academy of Contemporary Music, degree level.[2] Vocalist and co-writer for dance act STUNT Stunt (music act), which achieved success worldwide with their hits "Raindrops", "I'll Be There" and "Fade Like the Sun". "Raindrops", the most successful of Stunts repertoire, was later collaborated with Sash! Raindrops (Encore Une Fois) and achieved a UK number 8. She has co-written with songwriters and producers such as Darren Styles, Micky Modelle, Rob Davis, Wizard Sleeve.

Records signed to Ministry of Sound, AATW and published with Ultra USA, Incentive and Bucks. Most recently one of Molly's tracks 'Shadows' was sample by grime artist Marger and has been released on iTunes through 360 Records 21 August 2011.

An acoustic EP 'Fly Away with Me' is scheduled for release end of October 2011.
