Mokra Gora (Albanian: Mokna/Mokragorë, Serbian Cyrillic: Мокра гора, pronounced [mɔ̂kraː gɔ̌ra]) is a mountain in western Kosovo[a], eastern Montenegro, and south-western Serbia. It is part of the Prokletije mountain range. It has two peaks higher than 2,000 m (6,562 ft). The highest is Pogled at 2,155 m (7,070 ft), and the other is Beleg at 2,102 m (6,896 ft). The Beleg peak is shared between Kosovo and Montenegro, while Pogled is on the tripoint. In Kosovo, the town of Istok lies just south of the mountain on the Metohija plain, which borders the mountain to the south.

Since arrival of international forces in 1999, illegal timber logging expanded multiple times, so vast areas are now completely devastated by logging.

a.   ^ Kosovo is the subject of a territorial dispute between the Republic of Serbia and the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo. The latter declared independence on 17 February 2008, while Serbia claims it as part of its own sovereign territory. Its independence is recognised by 85 UN member states.
