Johnson Franchise history 2011-Present Minot Minotauros The Minot Minotauros (commonly known as the Tauros) are an american junior ice hockey team set to begin play for the 2011-12 season. Based in Minot, North Dakota, the Tauros will play their home games at Maysa Arena.[1][2]
The Tauros are Minot's third hockey team, following the Minot Americans/Top Guns which played in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League from 1987-97 and the Minot Muskies which played in the America West Hockey League for the 2000-01 season (the AWHL would later merge with the NAHL).[3]
