Ministry of the Natural, Rural and Marine Environment (Spain)

The Ministry of the Environment, Rural and Marine Affairs is the ministerial department of the Government of Spain created under the presidency of Jose Luis Rodríguez Zapatero. This new department includes the tasks of the former Ministry of Environment and the former Ministry of Agriculture and Fishing. This Ministry has an important role on the policies against climate change and in favour of sustainable development.
