Miniature Dinosaurs are a pop/rock band from Stirling, Scotland. The band consists of Barry Maclean (vocals/guitar), Craig Ferrie (guitar/keys), Alban Dickson (bass guitar) and Sam Waller (drum kit). Critics have compared their music to the likes of David Bowie,[1] The Killers,[2] Pulp and Weezer.

In March 2009 their track (I Want To Watch) Top Gear was featured on Radio 1,[3] allowing the band to be heard on national airwaves even 3 months before the outfit performed their first gig.

Since then the band have supported such artists as Fenech-Soler, Johnny Foreigner and Young the Giant.

In 2010 the band announced a clothing endorsement with Police, the first endorsement of its kind by the fashion company. In the same year the band also had several tracks featured in the MTV drama Being Victor.[4][5]

Releases

In Spring 2010 the band released their EP, Chatterbox, which features the following tracks; 'Write Back', 'Maine, USA', 'Three Generations of Lunatic Cats' and 'Showgirl'.

In October 2010 the single Cold Shoulder was released via digital download.

In February 2011 the band released their second EP, Off the Radio, featuring previous single, 'Cold Shoulder'. Two further singles, 'Fight or Flight' and 'Alligator' also came from this EP.
