Meundi

Mewundi is a village in the Mundaragi Tahasil of Gadag district in Karnataka state, India. It is situated few kilometers away from NH63 on the state highway from Gadag to Mundaragi. Coordinates : 15 16.9 82 N, 75 49.56 49 E

It has a population of around 3000 with 500 houses. ^[1]

A gas based power plant of 2000 MW is proposed at this place.

Economy of the town depends on growth of Cotton crops.
