Novoshakhtinsk (Russian: Новоша́хтинск) is a mining city in Rostov Oblast, Russia, located on the border with Ukraine. Population: 111,087 (2010 Census preliminary results);[1] 101,131 (2002 Census);[2] 107,772 (1989 Census).[5]
