McKinnon Glacier

McKinnon Glacier (70°38′S 67°45′E / 70.633°S 67.75°E / -70.633; 67.75) is a glacier flowing southeast from the Nemesis Glacier to Beaver Lake in the east part of the Aramis Range, Prince Charles Mountains. The area was first visited by an ANARE (Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions) party in 1956 and mapped from ANARE air photographs. Named by Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) for G.W. McKinnon, Geographical Officer with the Antarctic Division, Melbourne, Officer in Charge of the ANARE Prince Charles Mountains survey party in 1969.
