Marawila is a coastal town in the Puttalam District of the North Western Province, Sri Lanka. It is located along the junction of the road (A3) that connects the capital city of Colombo with the city of Chilaw, and the road (B272) that leads to Nattandiya. With the coast at its edges, Marawila lies in a rather touristic area around the city of Negombo with a number of hotels located on its territory.
