Doron Richard Jensen (born 1 September 1958), is an American restauranteur most notable for founding multiple national restaurant chains.

Career

Best known for his founding involvement in the restaurant chains Timber Lodge Steakhouse, Homestyle Buffet, Old Country Buffet, and others^[1][2]. He is also attributed for rebooting the American steakhouse concept. He is the former President of Minnesota Restaurant Association^[3] and has represented a number of interest groups across the country. He currently owns and operates a collection of restaurants in the Twin Cities^[4][5][6][7].
