Don C. Harvey (December 12, 1911 – April 23, 1963) was an American television and film actor. Harvey was born in Kansas, United States.

Career

Harvey appeared in 180 films and television programs between 1945 and 1963. During the late 1940s alone, he appeared in 15 films and TV programs. Harvey's second film and first credited film was Dragnet (1947) starred Henry Wilcoxon and Robert Kent and the exploitation film, She Shoulda Said No! (1949).

1950s

• Film: During the 1950s, Harvey appeared in over 50 films including Northwest Territory (1951), Human Desire (1954), Strategic Air Command (1955), The Far Country (1955), and The Gun That Won the West (1955).
• Television: The Cisco Kid (1950), Captain Video: Master of the Stratosphere (1951), The Range Rider (1951–1952), The Gene Autry Show (1951–1953), The Adventures of Kit Carson (1953–1954), Captain Midnight (1954–1955), and The Millionaire (1955).

1960s

• Film: In 1963, Harvey was fortunate enough to get a bit part in the massive $9 million, 12 star studded production, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World which starred Sid Caesar, Ethel Merman, Spencer Tracy, Mickey Rooney, and Milton Berle among others. Harvey got the role of a police officer but offscreen was the first cast member to die after filming was completed.
• Television: During the 1960s, Harvey appeared in the popular genre of American westerns. He appeared in Sugarfoot (1960), The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp, Bonanza (1961), Wagon Train (1961), Perry Mason (1961), Rawhide (1961–1962), Laramie (1962), and Maverick (1962), The Virginian (1963) among others. He also appeared in the mystery/crime dramas of Surfside 6 (1962), Hawaiian Eye (1960–1962), and Checkmate (1962).

Harvey died of cardiac arrest on April 23, 1963.
