Diz Iz It! (from intentionally misspelled This is It!) was a Filipino pre-noontime variety show produced by the Television And Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE Inc.) of Malou Fagar and Tony Tuviera and GMA Network. The show was to be named as Todo Bigay^[1][2] but never pushed through so instead the name is Diz Iz It! The show broadcasts from Studio 1 of GMA Network Center and later to GMA Broadway Centrum in Quezon City. This show airs internationally via GMA Pinoy TV at various times. Diz Iz It! is aired from Mondays to Fridays at 10:30am to 12:15pm and Saturdays at 10:15 am to 12:00pm before Eat Bulaga! on GMA and on GMA Pinoy TV. It had its grand concert which served as its final episode on July 24, 2010. The show attempted to beat ABS-CBN's Showtime in the ratings game, but failed to do so.

Format

Hosted by Bayani Agbayani, Ehra Madrigal, Grace Lee and Sam Y.G. a.k.a. Shivaker, Diz Iz It! comprises five contestants who compete for 50,000 PHP daily cash prize by displaying their entertaining production numbers. The contestants are subjected into a dance competition. Aside from the major prize in the Best in Talent segment, an additional 30,000 PHP in the game show proper awaits the participating contestant.

Dancing contestants dance to remixed songs with the songs' original elements as well as the group's signature moves.

Lam Ko, Lam Mo

A studio audience member is chosen and that studio audience contestant has to pick someone they have never met and if they ,the new "friend" as the Diz Iz It! hosts phrase it, get it right, they both win over PhP 1,000!

Judges

• Michelle Obomshell has been a mainstay judge ever since he first appeared on this show. He was requested by popular demand because of his comedic styles.
• Sita & Tera were the original judges that have appeared for a month, but because they always criticize and look on the bad side, due to audience reaction and avoidance of prevention by MTRCB, these judges were removed as of the later part of March 2010.

Ratings

The show was seen as the answer of GMA Network to ABS-CBN's widely popular Showtime but Diz Iz It!'s ratings were a disaster even in the GMA Network stronghold of Mega Manila Area. The ratings were a factor a the show's cancellation. In the Nationwide ratings and even the Mega Manila ratings, Showtime doubled the ratings of Diz Iz It!, sometimes even tripling, quadrupling it.^[3][4]

In Popular Culture

Diz Iz It! was a used as a reference to Showtime hosts' jokes especially Vice Ganda in a number of segments namely "May Sumulat" ^[5] but it didn't end there as Vice Ganda also made a reference to Diz Iz It!'s spelling while correcting one sign inside the Showtime studio brought by the contestants for its wrong grammar.^[6]

The show was seen as a "copy cat" of ABS-CBN's Showtime to the general public, a factor that might've affected its ratings from the start.
