The Descanso, Alpine and Pacific Railway is a 2-ft. gauge heritage railroad in Alpine, California. This little operation is a sole proprietorship and has one locomotive, a 1935 Brookville Equipment Corporation unit, and one depot. The railway offers free train rides to the public.
