Deonar abattoir is an abattoir located in Deonar, in the eastern suburb of Mumbai, India. The abattoir is the largest in Asia.[1] Goats, cow, are made available differing in size and breed cost with ranges anywhere between INR10,000 (US$202.8) and INR5 lakh (US$10,100), the highest a shop has demanded at the abattoir. They are mostly imported from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.[2]
