Committee of the RegionsThe Delors building located in the European Quarter of Brussels and houses the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions. It was named Delors in 2006 after President Jacques Delors, who was the principal founder behind the Committee of the Regions and the most prominent President of the European Commission. The building was previously used by the European Parliament, then known as the Belliard building, before being renovated in the 2000s for use by the committees. It sits between the Rue Belliard and Leopold Park.
