Damad Hasan Pasha

Damad Hasan Psaha Modern Turkish: Moralı Enişte Hasan Pasha, Greek Ottoman Grand Vizier (born ca. 1658 in Tripolis, Morea - died 1713 in Urfa).

Biography

He was born of Greek ancestry^[1][2] in the Morea, Greece and converted to Islam early on.^[3] He initially served as a Armourer and rose to the post of Grand Vizier where he served between 1703-1704.^[4] He married the daughter of Sultan Mehmed IV, Hatice Sultan,^[5] and was eventually exiled with his wife to izmit.
