Route 52

County Route 52 is an east–west county route in the Village of Wilson and the Towns of Wilson and Newfane. Route 52 begins its west end in the Village of Wilson as Young Street at an intersection with New York State Route 425 (Lake St.) and CR 126 (Young St.). From there, CR 52 heads east, leaving the village and entering the Town of Wilson where it changes its name to Wilson-Burt Road. Route 52 heads east passing rural areas, and as it nears its end, crosses Eighteen Mile Creek (Niagara County) before reaching its eastern terminus at New York State Route 78 (Lockport-Olcott Rd.) and Drake Settlement Road.

Route 55

County Route 55 is a north–south county route designated to Royalton Center Road in the Town of Royalton. Route 55 begins at CR 122 (Wolcottsville Rd.) and Griswold Street in the hamlet of Wolcottsville. From here, CR 55 curves its way north; however CR 55 turns west at 1.58 miles, and still keeping the Royalton Center name, as Arnold Road takes off to the north. Its westward treck only lasts a short distance until it reaches Bunker Hill Road at 2.33 miles. Here Route 55 turns north, now to stay. Bunker hill Road heads south and west toward NY 93 and the hamlet of Dysinger. At 3.99 miles New York State Route 77 (Chestnut Ridge Rd.) is intersected, and almost 3 miles later, CR 55 reaches its north end at New York State Route 31 (Rochester Rd.) just south of the hamlet of Reynales Basin and east of Gasport.

Royalton Road itself continues north a short distance past NY 31 to Telegraph Road where the roadway turns into Wruck Road.

County Route 56 is a short north–south roadway named Church Street. CR 56 lies in the Town of Cambria and is a connecting road between New York State Route 104 (Ridge Rd.) at its south end and New York State Route 93 (Youngstown-Lockport Rd.) that lies at its north end.

Route 57

County Route 57 is a north–south county route located in the Towns of Lewiston and Porter. County Route 57, named Porter Center Road, starts at New York State Route 104 (Ridge Rd.) in Lewiston, just north of the Tuscarora Indian Reservation. CR 57 heads due north, but curves east and then again north, around Modern Landfill and into the Town of Porter. At the hamlet of Porter Center, Route 57 intersects New York State Route 93 (Youngstown-Lockport Rd.) at just over five miles. Further north, CR 36 (Youngstown-Wilson Rd.) is intersected, and not long after CR 57 reaches its northern end at New York State Route 18 (Lake Rd./Seaway Trail).

Route 58

County Route 58 is an east–west route named Tonawanda Creek Road [North] in the Towns of Lockport and Royalton. CR 58 begins at CR 216 (Goodrich Rd.) on the south edge of the hamlet of Rapids near the south end of CR 12 (Rapids Rd.). CR 58 heads east from here, leaving Rapids and eventually the Town of Lockport for Royalton, all while paralleling to the north of Tonawanda Creek. Just before its end, CR 112 (Tonawanda Creek Rd.) is intersected as CR 58 crosses Tonawanda Creek and enters Erie County designated as CR 42.

There are four separate designations for Tonawanda Creek Road; from west to east:

  • CR 60 - CR 20 & CR 67 near the North Tonawanda City Line to NY 78 (Transit Rd.)
  • CR 117 - NY 78 (Transit Rd.) to CR 12 near Rapids
  • CR 58 - CR 12 & CR 216 at the Erie County Line near Rapids to CR 42 at Erie County Line
  • CR 112 - CR 58 to CR 110

Route 60

County Route 60 is a 7.9 mile east–west county route named Tonawanda Creek Road North in the Town of Pendleton that parallels the creek of that name, Tonawanda Creek (also part of the Erie Canal). County Route 60 starts at the Pendleton-Wheatfield Town Line at an intersection with CR 67 (Lockport Ave.) from the west and CR 20 (Pendleton-Wheatfield Townline Rd.) from the north. CR 60 heads east, passing north of West Canal Marina Park [1] and south of Acacia Park Cemetery [2] as Tonawanda Creek Road North bends to the north. As Route 60 curves back on its eastward heading, CR 96 (Bear Ridge Rd.) is intersected. Since CR 96 crosses over CR 60 because of the Tonawanda Creek bridge, access to CR 96 can be obtained by using either one of two connecting roads; one on the west and one on the east side of the bridge.

Not long after, New York State Route 270 (Campbell Blvd.) is intersected in the hamlet of Wendelville at 3.25 miles. The Wendelville Fire Company (Sta. #1)[3] rests on the northwest side of the intersection. Route 60 continues heading east, still running right along the creek and canal. At 5.82 miles, CR 60 turns east, as Irish Road continues north, to cross the Erie Canal (at this point now separated from Tonawanda Creek) to head into the hamlet of Pendleton. There, CR 130 (E. Canal Rd.) is intersected at just over six miles. Further east, Route 60 veers northeast away from Tonawanda Creek, and now runs on the north side and parallel to Mud Creek, a tributary of Tonawanda Creek. At 7.89 miles, CR 60 reaches busy north–south New York State Route 78 (Transit Rd.) where CR 60 ends.

Tonawanda Creek Road North resumes south of here 0.2 miles as CR 117.

  • CR 60 - CR 20 & CR 67 near the North Tonawanda City Line to NY 78 (Transit Rd.)
  • CR 117 - NY 78 (Transit Rd.) to CR 12 near Rapids

Route 64

County Route 64 is an east–west route in the Town of Cambria and is named Thrall Road. CR 64 begins at CR 902 (Lower Mountain Rd.) east of Cambria Center and heads east-southeast, running through rural areas and few homes before coming to an end 2 miles later at CR 5 (Upper Mountain Rd.) at the east end of town.

Route 65

County Route 65 is a north–south county route located in the Towns of Hartland and Somerset in northeastern Niagara County. CR 65, named Hosmer Road, has its south end at New York State Route 104 (Ridge Rd.) and from there heads due north through the western portion of Hartland and intersecting only local roadways. At 4.37 miles, Townline Road is intersected, marking CR 65's cross into Somerset. At 5.89 miles, CR 3 (W. Somerset Rd.) is intersected. This road taken east heads to the Village of Barker. Past CR 3, CR 65 parallels the Somerset Railroad tracks. The railroad was built with the primary objective of providing coal to the Kintigh Generating Station, a 675 megawatt coal-fired power plant located in Somerset, New York. Route 65 ends at 7.36 miles at New York State Route 18 (Lake Rd./Seaway Trail) at the foot of the Kintigh Generating Station that is located on the southern shore of Lake Ontario.

Route 67

County Route 67 is a short east–west route named Lockport Avenue in the Town of Wheatfield. CR 67 begins at the North Tonawanda City Line and heads east, paralleling the north side of Tonawanda Creek/Erie Canal. US Route 62 crosses over CR 67 at 0.23 miles, but can be accessed via CR 141 (Connecting Blvd.) at 0.31 miles. At just under a half a mile, CR 67 reaches an intersection with CR 20 (Pendleton-Wheatfield Townline Rd.) & CR 60 (Tonawanda Creek Rd. N.) on the Pendleton-Wheatfield Town Line, where CR 67 ends.
