Country Day School, Guanacaste (CDS) is a private, United States-accredited, boarding school located between the Flamingo Beach and Tamarindo Beach in Brasilito, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Inspired by the Country Day School movement, it was founded as an English-speaking school in 1963.[1] The school serves students in grades pre-K to twelfth grade. In 2002, the school added a boarding program for grades 8-12. The school is owned and operated by the same shareholders as Country Day School in Escazu, which has a history dating to 1963.
