Portbury is a village in
North Somerset, England.
It is situated at the north-eastern end of the
Gordanovalley, near the Gordano serviceson the M5 motorway.
The parish church is dedicated to
St. Mary, and there is also a former priory in the village, which gave its name to the Hundred of Portbury.There is a very nice local public house in Portbury. The Priory.
Portbury is well served by roads given the nearby M5 and A369 which links to Bristol and Portishead.
