Christopher "Chris" Mott is an American academic who was a National Football Foundation Hall of Fame Scholar-Athlete in 1978 [1][2] and Pacific-10 Conference Medalist in 1979 [3] for the Arizona State Sun Devils. He is currently a Senior Continuing Lecturer in the department of English at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Background

Mott attended Arizona State University where he played for the Sun Devils football team, serving as co-captain in 1977.[4] He received his B.A. in English Education from ASU in 1979 and his Ph.D. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1991.
