Chris Adams (born in 1986)^[1] is a rugby league footballer. He currently plays for the Central Coast Centurions in the NSW Cup. He plays at hooker. Adams is available to play first-grade for the Newcastle Knights of the National Rugby League. In 2009, Adams played for the Cessnock Goannas in the Newcastle Rugby League, he was spotted by, at the time, Knights coach Brian Smith and then pursued by current Knights coach Rick Stone. He was named in the 2011 Newcastle Knights fulltime train-on squad.

Playing career

Born in Bellingen, New South Wales, Adams played his junior football for Bellingen and then moved to the Wyong Roos in 2005, 2007 and 2008. He later played for the North Sydney Bears Jersey Flegg side in 2006 and the Cessnock Goannas in 2009. He trains with the Newcastle Knights but has yet to make an appearance in the Telstra Premiership.
