ZONG is the first international brand of China Mobile, launched in Pakistan in 2008.^[1] The company is often cited as China Mobile (Pakistan).

In October 2011, ZONG signed a three-year partnership deal with the English football club Manchester United F.C.. According to the agreement, the company will launch dedicated "value added services and products" that will allow Manchester United fans in Pakistan to see and access all the goals scored, as well as exclusive interviews, news and behind-the-scenes access on their mobile phones. Giving remarks on the occasion, Manchester United F.C. manager Sir Alex Ferguson said "The way the club uses modern technology to reach our millions of fans around the world is outstanding. Zong will be a key player in allowing us to bring the passion and excitement of Manchester United to our fans in Pakistan."^[2][3]

CSR

Zong's CSR efforts include supporting scholarships to students at the University of Engineering and Technology (Peshawar),^[4] as well as entertainment events at Dreamworld Resort,^[5].
