Tohatin

Coordinates: 47°3′N 28°56′E / 47.05°N 28.933°E / 47.05; 28.933 Tohatin is a commune located 8 kilometers east of Chişinău, Moldova on the road leading to Vadul lui Vodă. The commune is composed of three villages: Tohatin, Buneţi and Cheltuitori.

Tohatin is similar to other small Moldovan villages, with less than 200 dwellings. Because of its proximity to Chişinău, it has become a bedroom community. The most noticeable part of Tohatin is Ziua Lui Diriga, which features an inn, chalets, restaurant, and small nature preserve, heavily favored for birthday and wedding parties.
