The fourth season of The Unit started on September 28, 2008 and introduces Bridget Sullivan (Nicole Steinwedell) and Sam McBride (Wes Chatham), new members to the unit and the team.

After completing a five month long assignment, the team is called upon to stop an assassination plot targeting the president-elect and vice president-elect.
