Blindekuh (operetta)

Blindekuh ("Blind Man's Buff") is an operetta written by Johann Strauss. It was first performed in January of 1878, its composition delayed by the death of Strauss' wife, Jetty Treffz. The operetta was not very well received, but the overture established itself in the repertoire of many orchestras.
