Chaunte Howard

Chaunte Howard (born January 12, 1984 in Templeton, California) is an American athlete competing in the high jump who participated in the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics. In August 2005 she won a silver medal at the 2005 World Championships in Athletics with a new PB of two meters. She also attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2004. Graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in May 2008.

Olympic participation

Howard jumped 1.85 meters in the qualifying round of the women's high jump at the 2004 Summer Olympics and did not reach the final.

Howard jumped 1.93 meters in the qualifying round at the 2008 Summer Olympics to reach the final. She placed sixth in the final with a height fo 1.99 meters.
