Seculo nuovo, vita nuova

Seculo nuovo, vita nuova ("New Century, New Life"), opus 498, is a waltz composed by Karl Michael Ziehrer. It was one of four compositions that Ziehrer had written for Vienna's 1900 Carnival, premiering in early January of 1900.cite web |url=http://www.naxosdirect.com/title/8.223817 |title=Ziehrer: Selected Dances and Marches |accessdate=2008-10-05|publisher=NaxosDirect] The waltz's Italian title reflects its original scoring for mandolin and guitar for the Italian market, having been published in Trieste.
