The AuthorAlbert Appleton was born in Cork, Ireland in 1994. At primary school he was renowned for his story writing but it wasn’t until his last year that he completed his first novel. This was in part encouraged by his family and the publication of some of his short stories. At present he’s almost completed his second novel. In time to come he hopes to study English at U.C.C.He is tall, black-haired, greeny-blue eyed and is thirteen (he was born on the 20-12-1994)
"The First Book."It was a struggle for Albert to write his first book but he was finished it within two months. He wrote it at the end of sixth class and edited/typed it in secondary school. He would like to give special thanks to Ms. Hoyne, his very kind family, David Minihane and Kevin Cox.The first book's blurb is;
Andrew Smith is your average 12 year old boy who goes to a not-so-ordinary school, the spooky Safe Haven. He is unlucky enough to have the cruel Ms. Eagle as his teacher for the second year in a row but when computers start mysteriously disappearing it is up to him to solve the cases and those it unfolds by selecting the right people for the job and thus The School Heroes is born! From dodge ball brawls to notorious villains Andrew has a lot to deal with many tasks this year!

Ms. Eagle.Betty Eagle is the cruel, the mean, sixth class teacher at Safe Haven!The protagonist of our story. He is an ordinary 12 year old boy with strawberry-blonde hair and many friends. He is good at schoolwork and computers.
He attends a spooky school, Safe Haven and has the meanest teacher possible, Ms. Eagle.
However when computers start mysteriously disappearing it is up to him to form an organisation known as The School Heroes. They then need to solve the computer case and those it unfolds.
"Rumours"
There are many rumours surrounding the book and here are the two found most on the web.
Is Albert Appleton the author's real name? Many people have posted on various websites that his proper name is Aaron McCarthy. This may be correct or just a rumour. If you have any info. on this please add more to this page!
Does Ms. Eagle exist? A rumour started by Albert actually was that Ms. Eagle may be a real person just with a different name. In an interview he stated, "Yes Ms. Eagle reminds me of my own teacher in primary school, Ms. Egan."
