Patna district

Patna district is one of the districts of Bihar state, India, with Patna as the district headquarters. Patna district is a part of Patna division.

Population: Total: 36,23,225 Rural: 22,41,510 Urban: 11,19,800

Agriculture: Paddy, Maize, Pulses and Wheat. Also oil seeds. Roughly one third of the area sown is under rice (paddy). Cash crops such as vegetables and water-melons are also grown in Diara belt
Industry: Leather, Handicrafts, Agro processing
