Ivica Ančić

Ivica Ančić

Ivica Ančić (born October 29, 1979 in Split) is a professional tennis player from Croatia. His younger siblings, Mario and Sanja, are also professional tennis players.

Tennis career

During his career, from 1996 until 2001, he mostly played Futures tournaments and a couple of Challengers. During his career he tried to qualify for a couple of tournaments on ATP Tour, and in 1998, for the Australian Open, but with no success.

His career highest ranking was 1322 (August 6, 2001) in singles, and 632 (November 5, 2001) in doubles; Ančić also won one tournament in singles, and one with his younger brother, Mario. His total career prize money is $10,208.
